Diamond Soft 30,000-Grain Softener
For the hardness and dissolved iron behind spots, scale and stiff laundry.
What it's for
What this system reduces
- Water hardness (calcium & magnesium)
- Dissolved (clear-water) iron
- Scale build-up on fixtures and water heaters
We describe the reduction of these substances. Actual results depend on your incoming water and system configuration.
Is the Diamond Soft 30k right for my home?
If your main complaints are spotting, scale on fixtures and the water heater, stiff laundry or soap that won't lather, the Diamond Soft 30k is the right starting point — it reduces the hardness minerals and dissolved iron behind all of those. If you're also fighting a sulfur smell or heavy staining, the whole-home combo adds filtration for that. The free water test settles which one you need.

Questions about the Diamond Soft 30k
How many grains do I need for my home?
A 30,000-grain softener suits most 2–4 person Marion County homes at typical local hardness. Larger households or very hard well water may size up — we confirm the right capacity from your water test and household size, so you're not over- or under-sized.
Will a softener help with my well's iron staining?
A softener reduces dissolved (clear-water) iron along with hardness. If your well has heavy iron or the orange staining is already visible in the water, the whole-home combo or a dedicated iron approach may be a better fit — the test tells us which.
Does it use a lot of salt?
The Diamond Soft regenerates on demand based on your actual water use — not on a timer — so it only uses salt when it needs to. That keeps salt use and running costs down compared with older timer-based units.
